The “Heritage Bronze Series” doors and enclosures provide a unique “modern rustic” look and feel, exuding the irresistible warmth and natural character of solid bronze.
Heritage Classic Series
The Heritage Classic Series doors and enclosures bring back the unsurpassed quality construction of the 1940’s and 50’s, the heyday of framed shower enclosures. All of the parts, including the hinges and screws, are solid brass, giving the doors a solid, handcrafted look and feel.
These luxurious doors are offered in polished brass, polished nickel plated, chrome plated, and unlacquered brass. The chrome is a true plate, like the bumper of a vintage automobile. The unlacquered brass finish is uniquely special, because all of the parts (hinges, screws, etc) will naturally patina together over time. So, unlike most things made today, these doors get better with age.
Because the Heritage Classic Series doors are hand made, not stamped out in a factory, they can be customized in some very unique ways, with operating transoms, metal grill work, and even custom handles that can reflect the aesthetic of the other hardware throughout the house. Each trim accent and detail harkens back to a time when things were built solid and long lasting.
