Kevin Shockley

Project Assistant & Shop Forman

Kevin is our biggest supporter and helping hand. He makes it his mission to keep our shop, trucks, and job-sites stocked, organized, and efficient. Kevin takes pride in knowing what our installers need before they do. With 25 years of experience as an independent contractor, Kevin brings his expertise in finish carpentry and hard surface flooring to every project. Kevin’s versatility and knowledge of general construction is called upon frequently. Kevin usually knows what’s behind the wall!

Kevin brings two rules to Drexler Glass that have served him well. First, “under-promise and over-deliver.” And second, “do it right-sleep at night.” Kevin is always looking for ways to provide the customer with more than they expected. His favorite part of the job is seeing the homeowners faces the first time they see their new shower glass. He also enjoys tackling the “lost arts” of putty glaze window repairs and window screening.

Kevin comes from a family of Builders, Craftsmen, and Artists. His father, grandfather, and great grandfather were all builders. His mother and sister are accomplished artists. He and his wife, Jill, are passionate mosaic artisans. Kevin brings this tradition of artistic integrity to his role at Drexler Glass. In his words, “I have always been good at making things and am especially pleased when I make something beautiful.”
